Based on a successful working relationship over a number of years, shirt manufacturer Thomas Pink Ltd invited Penwright Supply Ltd to assist with the design and implementation of storage solutions for their new warehouse operation based in Dartford , Kent .

Penwright enlisted the help of a garment hanging specialist, who designed and installed a new system for unloading, moving, storing and despatching several thousand hanging garment items.

In addition, we had to dismantle their existing flatpack shelving system, transport it to the new site, and re-erect it in a new configuration, providing a total in excess of 600 bays of shelving.

Other ancillary items, such as pallet racking, workbenches and labelling systems were also sourced and supplied by Penwright, emphasising our ability to deliver the complete package.

The schedule of works had to be carefully planned to ensure that Thomas Pinks' distribution to their shops did not suffer unduly during the process. Ongoing review of the progress of the move, including a few postponements on behalf of the client tested the flexibility of the Penwright team, but the whole project was completed on schedule and on budget.
