The Building Centre ( www.buildingcentre.co.uk ) based in Central London is the world’s largest permanent exhibition and single source of information for the construction industry. For more than seventy years it has remained at the heart of the industry and today plays host too many important events, receiving more than 100,000 visitors and delegates throughout the year.

They hold brochures for 1000’s of companies which are stored in a wooden shelving system that had been custom made over 30 years ago.

During Winter & Spring of 2006 renovation and building works were to be carried out and Penwright Supply were enlisted to mobilize the existing wooden shelving system to make more use of the available space.

Penwright Supply assisted with planning the new layout of the shelving system, using CAD drawings to design the most effective use of the space available and then produce drawings to be approved by the Building Centre.

On completion of our works we had managed to mobilize over 80% of the existing shelving and released over 50% of the area previously taken up by this shelving system.
